45 Years

'My only regret is that the past 45 years have gone so fast...' ~ said my dad to my mom...

New blog of sorts...

You'll find my random pictures and stories of Adelaide over here now instead...

an instagram Christmas

What a wonderful Christmas. We spent at Nannie & Papa's house. Adelaide was spoiled beyond belief and my favorite was her (with palms pressed against cheeks) proclaiming 'Oh my goodness!' with each gift. I love her so much.

New buggy & pack & play for her new baby, complete with homemade crochet'd blankets for her baby (from Nannie & Papa).

Cleaning caddy to help me clean :)

Cousins paying close attention to Uncle Scott to find out who would get the first gift.
Red sparkling finger nails to match momma's, while drinking hot chocolate & watching Polar Express....Santa Claus waffle for Christmas morning breakfast (that she only ate the chocolate chip eyes from)...snuggles with Trigger (dog cousin)

SNOW! she just kept yelling 'SNOW!!!'

morning devotions & jesus loves me

She likes to sing Jesus Loves me and add in people for the part where it says 'Yes, Jesus loves me'....in this version Jesus loves 'Adelaide, Eric (uncle) and Uncle Justin'

can't stop listening to this...

I am the Lord your God, I go before you now
I stand beside you, I'm all around you
Though you feel I'm far away, I'm closer than your breath
I am with you, more than you know

I am the Lord your peace, no evil will conquer you
Steady now your heart and mind, come into My rest
Oh, let your faith arise, lift up your weary head
I am with you wherever you go

Come to Me, I'm all you need. Come to Me, I'm everything
Come to Me, I'm all you need. Come to Me, I'm your everything

I am your anchor, in the wind and the waves
I am your steadfast, so don't be afraid
Though your heart and flesh may fail you, I'm your faithful strength
I am with you wherever you go

flower garden gnome

I took Adelaide to my office Halloween Party last weekend ~ as you can see, my job spares no expense when they do events for us! Adelaide had a blast in the bounce house (set up in one of our conference rooms), got to decorate halloween cookies, go 'fishing' in a little kiddie pool (she also tried to go swimming in it too, which explains the absence of half her costume in some of the photos) and get her face painted. She had an absolute blast running all over the place and was well worn out by the time we left - well worn out from playing, but also from running full speed into the glass wall on the vestibule :-/....I've seriously considered putting a helmet on her lately...

Little Flower Garden Gnome (she refuses to wear the hat, which is of course, the best part)

checking out the spider

slipping and sliding around the bounce house in her tights

getting her face painted by Sparkles the clown ~ she also got to get glitter in her hair :)

checking out Sparkle's job on the face painting...
